Expensive

A very quick advanced camera. The 1/10000th of a second shutter speed makes the S7000 very attractive for certain purposes and it is only really let down by a reasonably hefty price tag and poor wide angled shooting.

Takes pictures of very good quality and does it very quickly. Speedy boot time as well.

The rechargeable batteries and charger you'll want to use with this camera will add to the cost since it doesn't ship with them. Bulky grip can be awkward.
