Samsung Q1 SSD - Solid State UMPC

 

Samsung was quick out of the gates with its UMPC, but now you can get the Q1 with a solid state disk.

The solid state disk is also much lighter than a standard mechanical drive, so the overall weight of the Q1 SSD is 734g compared to 779g for the standard Q1. Does 45g make a big difference on a device like this? I guess that depends on how light you...

The flashy little ultra mobile PC

Flash drive makes it much quicker to use ; Packed with handy features ; Excellent screen, with solid touch abilities

Battery life isn't much of an improvement ; Some of the software is clunky

Even though there's no denying that Samsung's ingenious UMPC is amazingly small, it just might be too small.

Good speaker sound quality. Full-blown Windows XP operating system. Very portable. Resolution toggle button.

No keyboard or optical drive included. Not very good for writing extensively. PDA-like stylus. Slow processor and nonupgradable RAM. ; Watch the Samsung Q1 Video Review!
