The MSI Pulse GL66 is a powerful midrange gaming laptop with a lot going for it, but its poor performance to price ratio and awful battery life really drag it down.

An upgradeable but plain gaming laptop.

+ Fairly affordable ; + Easily upgradeable ; + Fast SSD

- Runs Hot ; - Dull colors ; - Mediocre sound

The MSI Pulse GL66 is great if you want a low cost laptop you can upgrade later, but you can do a lot better by spending just a little more.

We testen de MSI Pulse GL66 12UEK met een Intel Core i9-12900H en RTX 3060 met 105 watt. De MSI laptop moet op verschillende plaatsen nog wat aangepast worden. Vorig jaar werd de Pulse gaming serie nieuw geïntroduceerd met de twee GL66 en GL76...

aluminium deksel;180-graden openingshoek;goede gaming prestaties;relatief laag stroomverbruik

geen Thunderbolt;1x oude USB 2.0;onduidelijke garantie situatie wanneer fabriekszegel verbroken is;donker beeldscherm met zwakke reactietijden;sterk verminderde CPU-prestaties in batterijmodus;middelmatige levensduur batterij

Hoewel de RTX 3060 slechts 105 watt kan verbruiken, bevielen de gaming prestaties ons toch, vooral omdat dit de Pulse ook comfortabel efficiënt maakt, maar geenszins traag.
