Slim, stylish, all-metal exterior ; Great screen ; Excellent overall performance ; Good connectivity

Nvidia graphics not necessary for all ; 14-inch form factor adds weight

Not the slimmest or lightest laptop around, but an all-metal design, great screen, plenty of performance and good battery life combine to make the Lenovo IdeaPad 720S an excellent option for its price.

The IdeaPad 720s is a light, powerful, and customizable ultraportable that is reasonably priced.

Very customizable. Thin and light. Sturdy keyboard. Excellent full HD matte display. Thunderbolt support. Inexpensive.

No touch screen. Touchpad feels flimsy. Muddy sound.

Bottom Line: The 13-inch Lenovo IdeaPad 720s is a light, powerful, and customizable ultraportable that won't break the bank.

A compact laptop with plenty of power

Great overall performance ; Beautiful design ; Discrete graphics offers extra options

Slightly awkward keyboard ; Middling battery life ; Loud fan

Tight bezel, decent CPU, and dedicated graphics, all crammed in to an almost impossibly small slimline aluminium case. Nice.
