Discriminates against apostrophes.

Silent operation, very small and light, solid-state drive

Apostrophe key is in the wrong place, uncomfortable to type on, tends to get warm, screen has poor vertical viewing angle

While we love the size and weight of this netbook, its keyboard is very hard to type on due to the non-standard key layout.

More configurable than other Netbooks; good battery life; XP and Linux OS options.

Some awkward keyboard compromises; no SSD options larger than 16GB.

Dell's entry into the Netbook market means it's time to take these low-cost, low-power PCs seriously. The Inspiron Mini 9 is an excellent example of the form, if not radically different from the competition.

Although not the best netbook available, the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 might have enough appeal to propel this category into the mainstream.

Runs the Intel Atom platform. Weighs only 2.3 pounds. Very responsive mouse buttons. Well-priced with eValue code.

Keyboard is too small. Needs a bigger battery option. Limited to SSD hard drive option.
