A highly capable laptop at an astoundingly reasonable price

Attractive red build ; Comfy isolation keyboard ; Intel Core i7-2670QM processor ; High res screen ; 4GB RAM

Integrated graphics, Screen's not that bright ; No USB 3.0 port ; Low battery life

Overall, we can't help but recommend the Asus X53E-SX1330V as an excellent purchase. Its extra-powerful processor and impressive usability mean you can expect it to last at least for the next three years.

TestIT!2011, the second. Asus sends the X53E into the race for the Intel test campaign. The laptop, also equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor and its incorporated HD 3000 graphics unit, is supposed to especially stick out from the competition...

Stable case, Good cooling, Material selection (aluminum), Display's good color reproduction, That Asus considers the material a bit and also uses aluminum in its notebooks with an entry level configuration

Average contrast, No Bluetooth, No USB 3.0, A better interface positioning. Asus has simply distributed all ports in the notebook's front area

I got one of these for the wife after her Dell Insprion laptop came down with the dreaded "seven beeps of doom" problem. The unit is perfect for her needs (internet access, general use, etc), and seems pretty zippy for a unit at this price point....

Performs well for the price ; nice design/handling ; vendor did nice job refurbishing - great conditon

Great Laptop

 

If ASUS builds their laptops in the same manner as this one I would recommend everyone looking to purchase a laptop to consider ASUS. This one is very well built.

I bought this laptop for a friend who gave it to his girlfriend as a x-mas gift. It so happen to be the last one available and lucky for her. The laptop is awesome!!! It is one of the best built I have ever encountered. ASUS thought of everything for...

I really have no cons, It could have been a little faster machine but then I would have had to probably pay more too
