Offering a decent balance between price and performance, ASUS unfortunately had to compromise on screen quality to keep the cost down.

Average overall performance combines with excellent gaming muscle to deliver a machine that specialises in play time

The inclusion of a touch screen has obviously come at the cost of the resolution, negating one of the key benefits of this laptop’s larger dimensions

Weighing in at a rather hefty 2.4kg, the S551LB unfortunately loses one of the major benefits of its larger dimensions due to the low screen resolution. The disappointing screen is undoubtedly this laptop's major flaw — what's the point in dragging...

Un peu cher, ce PC portable Asus a toutefois de bons atouts dans sa manche

 

Le VivoBook S551LA-CJ022H d'Asus ne manque pas de charme. Il tient 6 heures sur batterie et bénéficie d'une très bonne ergonomie. Mais, son écran tactile manque de luminosité et sa configuration, de puissance graphique. Surtout pour le prix.

Relativement fin, agréable à utiliser et très endurant, le VivoBook S551 d’Asus est un engin sympathique. Toutefois, selon nous, il est vendu 50 euros trop cher. Certes, la garantie de deux ans, la housse et la souris sont de petits plus appréciables....
