I like the size, screen is good quality, speed is great

DVD drive didn't work, wouldn't even recognize disks (of any kind). Didn't realize it until my warranty was up, now I'm stuck with it

i7 3rd gen quad core cpu (best available at the time I purchased) ; gorgeous HD ips screen ; good sound for a laptop (when subwoofer attached) ; USB 3.0 for fast external hard drive transfers ; non-Intel based wifi chip

Not entirely compatible with older versions of USB, some items that do function just fine on USB 2.0 only ports ; Not the best sub components used inside ; Memory module failed within 10 months of purchase and I will have to buy some high quality...

False information from Asus?

 

Nothing angers me more than purchasing something based on pre-sales information then finding out that I was given incorrect information after the purchase. I hope someone from Asus will read this and provide the correct information regarding the BIOS...

Not sure yet, was planning to buy but I am getting conflicting information about the BIOS in this model

After reading the previous review comment from Asus support that said the BIOS could not be accessed without Windows 8 I decided to call Asus to confirm this. The support rep I spoke with assured me that the BIOS on this model could be accessed on boot...
