might have to contact someone regarding the D key having issues

large HDD, dedicated radeon video card and a nice sleek look last gen a8 quad core processor and ddr3 ram

battery life seems sub par, maybe because battery is used/old ; shipping obviously not new eggs fault but i paid for express and it took 7 days ; D key works intermittently, which is to bad because i was planning on using this for games

Good for its price

 

It comes with Windows 8, which I am still trying to figure out how to use properly. I wouldn't call it a con, but it is troublesome to me.

Nice weight for its size, runs pretty well. The screen and sound were better than I was expecting. No defects. Quite cheap for its quality

The power cord came with a European plug: not a big deal, but it was still annoying. The battery life is shorter than I was expecting

Great for the price!

 

This is an amazing laptop, [...]. I can have 3 browsers open, 2 games open on max settings with skype and it works perfectly. Most games work on highest settings that I own, the new ones probably won't, but at minimum settings for sure the computer...

I have had this k55n for 6 months,and was not at all happy with windows 8,be fine if it was a touch screen>I installed windows *7 with a solid state hard drive.i will give it a 5 star now.love it

Asus laptop

 

My first laptop and I could not be happier with my decision. I found it very easy to learn how to navigate through windows 8 and the mouse pad glides very nicely. I would recommend this laptop to everyone looking to buy.

I love this laptop

 

This laptop is awesome. It stays cold! It can play Skyrim on "High" graphic settings. The battery lasts for 3-5 hours. It wakes up from sleep mode very quickly and I am very happy with this purchase. For [the price], this laptop is a steal.

Great value

 

My old Toshiba failed, and I needed to replace it quickly. This was the best value available (on sale). Great specs and the ASUS build quality seems to be better than most brands. I've had it for a coupe of weeks and so far it's been great.
