Acer ENDURO N3 review

 

The Acer ENDURO N3 is designed for those that work outdoors but don't want to worry about a rain shower coming along and wrecking their computer.

Great screen Competitively priced Good battery life

Pin-barrel charging port No USB 3.2 Gen 2 Left offset touchpad

Affordable and reasonably specified, the ENDURO N3 is only let down by some poor port and layout choices. Environment proofing is only semi-rugged, but this is enough protection for those who aren’t expecting to swim with their equipment.

One of the thinnest and lightest semi-rugged notebooks ; Low price ; Dust-, drop-, and water-resistant ; Solid mix of ports ; Good battery life

Not as tough as most rivals or Enduro N7 sibling ; Muted onscreen colors

Less tank-like (and a lot less expensive) than most rugged laptops, Acer's Enduro N3 is a plastic rather than magnesium machine that can survive short drops or getting rained on.
