The ; has a huge 1080p 18-inch display, and gets points for inventiveness for its detachable touch-pad remote control. Battery life was also excellent for such a large laptop.

While it's a clever idea, the pop-out touch pad was frustrating to use at times.

The 18-inch Acer Aspire Ethos AS8951G is a huge multimedia powerhouse laptop with a unique removable touch-pad remote control. It's a clever idea, but one that might be ahead of its time.

Desktop replacement laptops don't come much bigger than the Acer Aspire Ethos 8950g. The 18.4-inch screen means that the entire unit weighs close to 5kg, with its included half-brick sized power adapter.

"Great screen, fast, and high fit and finish."

 

Those in the market looking for an expensive feeling laptop with excellent specs and fantastic aesthetics. Updating your laptop with an affordable SSD and 16GB of ram and you will have one superb machine.

Keyboard is comfortable with even spacing, Processor and Graphics Card work to produce a quick response and accurate graphics, the chassis has a high finished quality, actually quite enjoy the glass removable touchpad.

Very heavy, Notification lights - they are bright but their description pictures are very hard to tell what they are indicating you of.
