Survival for my Mother-in -Law

 

My mother-in -law just moved into the top floor of an assisted living senior residence facility and it gets the afternoon sun. It must have gotten to 100 degrees plus in the room about 3pm to 8pm, until I got a Soleus MA_9000AH portable air conditioner...

The system adjustments are easy to understand (aged mother-in-law can use the basic things).

Maybe it doesn't throw out the super cold air. Cooling is moderate.

Don't Bother with This Item

 

The reviewer "speed3" hit the nail on the head with this thing. It's funny that it only cooled his room to 82 degrees, that is as far as it got on mine too (and it felt more like 92 in the room) First, this isn't very "portable" because you have to ...

Nothing comes to mind at the moment.

Does not heat, cool, fan well. Has alot of "tech" issues.

Not efficient at all

 

The 4-in-1 - a/c, heater, de=humidifier, fan.

Inefficient cooling. Noisy. Not sure if other indoor a/cs will be better.

Just like the previous review, I have very similar problems. I got this model about 10 months ago. I live in a 1 bedroom apt in San Jose , California. Last summer, it wasn't that hot, so things kind of worked out ok. I am using it in my bedroom ...

Lots of features for the money.Nice remote control.

Compressor seems to overheat and cut out frequently.
