Nothing more than an ordinary fan

No cooling effect I felt like I wasted all my money. Go for an air conditioner if you are looking for cooling and for a fan if you just need air in your room. Also starts smelling after a few days and you have to drain the water if you have not used it

Very powerful, lovely flow of air when you put ice in. Excellent if you have open door with fresh air coming in the back of the unit,it's super cold air and it is fresh and clean air! Believe me it's good.....

Be aware you need very good ventilation in the house else it starts to stick! I bought two of them, I did read up on this, these types of coolers work in very hot dry places like Las Vegas where it is dry heat, in the uk we have moist air and it don't...

As soon as you turn it off the room heats back up very fast

Not too bad on low fan speed, buy quite noisey on others

good to be able to adjust the settings so much

it is quite loud and if you want it in a room which may need to be relatively quiet for phone conversations etc it is not very practical
