I probably would not buy Haier brand again and sure would not buy this model unless they were able to get the noise issue resolved. Though the rest of the window unit works well the noise issue alone is a deal breaker

Cools quickly, Drains water from outside well without pooling in inside panel, Insulation inside unit well done, Easy to Clean.

LOUD, I wish i had listened to others comments when they said it was loud its just that its a common complaint with window units but this one is a lot louder then many others. though the bearing whine is starting to go away now that its been a few...

Surprisingly well built

 

For the price an amazing deal. Of course I just it got it yesterday so this could all change if it doesn't continue to work well.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much at this price. But I was surprised. The construction quality I quite good and the unit operates well and is reasonably quiet. The included mounting hardware, including the wings are perfectly adequate. The digital...

There is a rattle from somewhere inside the housing. It's not loud but... concerning. I'll wait and see if it gets worse or goes away.

Comparing to a 6k frigid from a major brick and mortar. I can really feel the difference. All I hear is airflow. It is impressive. This unit is so much quieter. I think something was wrong with the frigid. It had the ambient sounds of Bioshock. I think...

Chills a 20x20 master bedroom. I can really feel the airflow. I want to turn it off after 15 minutes or so. It's so effective. Even on the lowest fan setting. That says a lot. I live in central Texas. I barely hear the compressor. I don't want to give...

The side panels leave something to be desired. They were hard to work with. I was expecting more range on the spread there. The width was actually less than my 6k unit (different manufacturer.) The power of the blast knocks the dust off my ceiling fan....
