What's special about JVC's new budget contender?

Decent image quality ; Reasonable price ; More configurable than a pocket Internet camcorder

Fiddly control system ; 720p resolution, not Full HD ; No built-in memory

JVC also uses the extra pixels to provide a more powerful Advanced Image Stabiliser (AIS) option, which smoothes jerky camerawork a little more than the standard setting. However, this again crops into the frame a little more, which doesn’t affect zoom...

Lightweight, easy to use and a terrific zoom

Battery life on battery that comes with camera is about 30 mins so purchase larger battery if you will do a lot of filming in one day

Very light and easy to carry in your pocket. The picture is so clear and crisp. Very easy to opperate the camea, mean I ued the camera before looking at the instructions.

Down loading to a disc takes quite a long time. And not the easiest instructions to follow during down loading.

good but not great purchase

 

good points picture quality spot on. Easy to use very light and compact . Bad points battery life not to good only a 1 hr with continued use. no sd card ,carry case,or midi hdmi cable have to buy seperate and can be expensive.

Great for the price

 

Small, compact and relatively easy to use. Has a great 40 x optical zoom, time lapse capture, automatic and manual settings and the fact that it does not have an internal HDD means one can remove the flash card and put it in your reader without mucking...

40 x opticl zoom with anti shake.

Manual zoom is limited. Once you set it you have to go through menu again to change it

bad picture in low light and this is 1 thing i wanted so very disappointed in this battery doesnt last any longer than around 40 mins again not what was stated for the money i could have got 1 that had auto illumi light technology and this 1 said it...
