The mac pro seriously breaks my heart as a system builder. I have nothing against OSX, it's a great OS, but I strongly urge potential buyers to look at their options here (you are, apparently, already at the Egg so look around). And If you love the...

OSX, good looking case. But seriously, Apple, how about a refresh?! For this price you could be giving your loyal customers a whole lot more computer ; honestly, I'm pretty sure buying a pre-assembled machine on the Egg is sacrilege

The last defense for buying this machine, besides OSX of course, was the 8 core machismo. Unfortunately for the Mac Pro, You can now you can get a Core i7 920, Sunbeam core contact freezer or TRUE, X58 T-power, and 6GB of DDR3 1600 all for about $800...
