Dopo aver testato l'MG279Q concentriamoci sull'MG278Q, un altro monitor di Asus da 27 pollici QHD con pannello TN e tecnologia FreeSync.

non odiamo i pannelli TN e gli ultimi monitor sono ottimi, ma preferiamo le soluzioni IPS. Nel caso dell'MG278Q abbiamo un prodotto che se la vede ad armi pari con l'MG279 in ogni area eccetto il contrasto e lo supera sul fronte dell'intervallo...

Great Monitor!

 

I'd recommend this monitor cause the price was fair on sale ($550CAD). These high quality monitors need to start coming down on prices and this was the first time i felt it was okay to make the jump. Hope it goes down even further to pick up a second :)

-1440p (came from 23" 1680x1050p and wow the difference is massive) -144hz (35-144hz for Freesync!) -Premium 8bit TN panel (picture is actually amazing) -Controls are easy to use and the joystick works really well -Great selection of ports and USB 3.0...

-Very tiny amount of backlight on the very right and bottom edge of the panel (can only notice in black screen scenes) -Speakers kind of weak for sound/bass but serve purpose for when you want to rest those ears from headphones.

Don't pass on this.

 

The colors look great. It is a nice monitor. The interface with the joystick is great. It is a bargain at $399. Even better now at $389. Great investment to better enjoy new things like DOOM.

-27" -144Hz -2560x1440 -Warranty

The quality control needs improvement. I lucked out and only had 1 dead pixel in the top left area that wont bother me. Backlight bleed is tolerable.

Seems to be a defective model type.

 

I have never had any issues like this with ASUS products. I replaced 2 ASUS screens with these that still work fine. I am regretting spending the money on these.

I ordered 2 of these and the 1 works great. Super fast refresh rates. Love the fact the the USB hub will stay on when the screen is in standby.

The first defective screen I had has a stuck pixel that was lower center screen and the one is was replaced with has a dead pixel in the lower left part of the screen. in other words 2/3 monitors I have received are defective I would not recommend...
