Reliable scanner; have had it about two years in a tax practice. We scan all the workpapers, a total of about 13,000 pages during the first few months of the year and it scans odd sizes equally well. A real workhorse with the only problem being...

Occasional cleaning and maintinance is required.

Workhorse Scanner

 

We have two of these units, and we scan hundreds of pages each and every day. Although periodic cleaning is necessary for optimal results, these units have worked very well for us given the very high number of scans they are used for.

Fast for a color duplex scanner, even faster in greyscale simplex mode. Virtually no paper jams or mis-feeds. Excellent de-skew and smoothing features. TWAIN Support

Rollers tend to pick up toner from faxes/laser printed pages over time. Eventually lines of toner appear on scans, forcing a cleaning of the rollers. The included software bundle looks outdated
