Brother MFC-J285DW

 

The Brother MFC-J285DW multifunction printer is a good choice for a micro or small office. It offers a lot to like, including the ability to print from and scan to websites, but it lacks an automatic document feeder.

Prints, scans, copies, and faxes. Wi-Fi. Duplexer (for two-sided printing). Fast speed.

No wired network support. No automatic document feeder. Low paper capacity.

The Brother MFC-J285DW has a lot going for it, but the lack of an ADF is a potentially serious drawback. If you need an ADF you'll be better off with the Canon MX472, the Epson WF-2530, or, most notably, the Editors' Choice Brother MFC-J470DW. The...

I made a mistake

 

I am totally dissatisfied with my purchase. I am the one at fault. I need a top feed for scanning and copying. I also find the printing of envelopes to be difficult and unsatisfactory.

GLAD I PURCHASED

 

I work for a small municipality and recently had to replace my Brother Laser Printer, so I decided to go with this one. So far so good. Quality is excellent. I am using the ink saver mode and printing in greyscale and am still getting excellent copies....

this printer is efficient easy to use and a breeze to set up. Wireless function is great the print quality is good. I would highly recommend this printer for anyone looking for a reliable printer.

Good product

 

So far my husband and I have enjoyed this printer/fax/scanner very much. It is easy to use and does a good job. On color prints I wish the color was a little sharper but the prints are still good.

This is a great compact Printer for everyday use, I am surprised how well it manages ink the wireless set up is great and easy, compared to HP this is a wonderful printer , I would highly recommend it.
