Review Samsung Google Nexus S I9020/I9023 Smartphone

Off Topic. Recently, a lot of readers have requested reviews of Smartphones. So here we are with our first in-depth review of a Smartphone, to be specific: the Samsung Google Nexus S. We tested two versions of this "Google Mobile?: the Nexus S I9023...

Attractive design ; Very good display (Amoled and SuperClear) ; Latest software ; Fast user interface ; Good camera ; Integrated NFC

Okay material quality ; No MicroSD slot

The closest competitor would be the Galaxy S also from Samsung. The Galaxy S2 is already on sale, with a new dual-core CPU and a fresh design. Apples iPhone 4 is also in the same league. Exciting: there are already rumors about the iPhone 5

Google Nexus S Android phone

The Google Nexus S Android phone is just the second Google-branded smartphone to hit the market (succeeding the Google Nexus One), and is also the fir...

Android 2.3, contoured Super AMOLED display, good battery life

Plastic finish, crashing issues, no microSD card slot, poor quality of voice calls

The Google Nexus S Android phone isn't a revolutionary smartphone, but remains an excellent option thanks to the 2.3 "Gingerbread" version of Android.

Nexus S Review

Nexus S Review - This in-depth review of the Google Nexus S (by Samsung) goes over the new features of Android 2.3 (aka gingerbread), the design, usability and battery life.

The Nexus S is a great Android smartphone. To most people, the most visible improvements from Android 2.3 will be the Adobe Flash support, the new keyboard and the overall performance. At the moment, there are no NFC applications so, while NFC is cool...

Google Nexus S review

Google has turned to Samsung for the next generation of Nexus device, this time known as the Google Nexus S. The “S” heritage plays it straight down the line as an evolution of the Samsung Galaxy S.

Excellent screen, great feeling phone in the hand, fast, access to all the Android goodies, keyboard improvements are great

Not the greatest video player, no HD video capture, lacks the consumer extras that rival devices will offer you

If Android is what you want, this is the purest form you’ll find and it is well worth considering

Google Nexus S

The definitive Google Nexus S review

Snappy OS ; Android 2.3 with early future updates ; Stunning AMOLED screen ; Improved battery life ; Cool lock screen animation

Underpowered UI ; Not enough Home screen widgets ; Slight freezing at times ; Light design ; Random phone restarting

Samsung Nexus S (AT&T)

Eight months after it originally went on sale with T-Mobile, the Samsung Nexus S continues to make the carrier rounds by landing at AT&T. You'll find few differences from its counterparts at T-Mobile or Sprint, which is both a good and a bad thing. On...

The Samsung Nexus S offers a brilliant display, decent call quality, and enough features to keep you busy. The Gingerbread OS offers usability improvements, and the stock Android is a welcome change for AT&T

The Samsung Nexus S feels rather fragile, and it lacks a memory card slot and LED notifications. AT&T added no new features, and data speeds were slow

The Samsung Nexus S brings a much-needed stock Android OS, Gingerbread, to AT&T. But eight months after its original debut, the handset feels underpowered and behind the smartphone curve.

Ekspertanmeldelse af:

Samsung Nexus S 4G (Sprint)

Ships with Android 2.3 ; Sprint version has 4G speeds

No expandable memory

Google and Samsung's joint collaboration is enhanced with Sprint's 4G data speeds, but the Nexus S still has a few hardware oversights.

Ekspertanmeldelse af:

Samsung Nexus S 4G

The Samsung Nexus S 4G brings an unadulterated Android experience to Sprint along with fast data speeds and Google Voice integration.

In some ways the Nexus S 4G is behind the curve among $199 Android phones. It doesn't boast a dual-core processor or HD video recording. What this device brings to the table is an interface that's not cluttered with carrier apps and the ability to...

Samsung Nexus S 4G (Sprint)

As it has a habit of doing, Sprint grabbed the CTIA spotlight early this year when it announced the Samsung Nexus S 4G the day before the annual wireless confab convened in Florida. Though the device was hardly new to the cell phone world--T-Mobile...

The Samsung Nexus S 4G offers a brilliant display, WiMax support, and agreeable performance. It gains a number of usability improvements from the Gingerbread OS, and its straight Google interface will appeal to Android purists

The Samsung Nexus S 4G feels rather fragile, and it lacks a memory card slot and LED notifications. We were hoping for more new features over the Nexus One, and its 4G connection was spotty at times

The Samsung Nexus S 4G offers a great combination of design, features, and performance. The 4G connection could be more reliable, but the Gingerbread OS, stock Android UI, and admirable call quality make for a satisfying smartphone.
