Sony MDR-XB50BS Bluetooth sports headphone: A deal but no steal

 

It may not be the best-looking Bluetooth sports headphone, but the XB50BS is decent value at its relatively modest price.

The Sony MDR-XB50BS is affordably priced, sweat-resistant, sounds decent and fits well (it's easy to get a tight seal). Battery life is good at 8.5 hours and the headphone has strong bass performance.

Not the greatest-looking wireless sports headphone; performed only OK as a headset; no protective case.

It's got some small downsides, but the reasonably priced Sony MDR-XB50BS is a step up in sound from a lot of inexpensive wireless sports headphones.

Sony MDR-XB50BS Review: EXTRA BASS Sports Bluetooth In-ear Headphones

 

The Sony MDR-XB50BS retails at S$119, making it a really great buy for the active lifestyle users but do not mind the bulky design. I like that the bass is full yet it does not veil the highs.
